Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Senseless

It's up! Enjoy everyone ^_^

Oh! And it seems mms and texting is a little faster now. Maybe it's just me because I'm using handcent now, but can anyone else confirm? There's a lot of little changes I've made and its seemed to make a huge difference ^_^
 
So I noticed that this ROM is Anthrax Optimized. Would throwing another kernel in the mix completely destroy your optimizations?
 
Just flashed v106. 4G and WIFI are busted. 4G doesn't turn on and WIFI says Error in the dragdown settings area. I did a full wipe coming from stock ROM... Did I miss something?
 
My mistake! I thought I was S-Off this whole time... But I just unlocked the boot loader. Thanks for the quick response BTW.
 
Hey xthedakmanx, thanks for this ROM it seems pretty legit. I flashed the boot image to get 4G and WIFI working again. If there's anything I can do to help, lemme know.
 
I kinda just tried this thinking that everything would work without S-off...I think that it's a little misleading to put it's only advised, rather than not fully functional without s-off, or am I doing something wrong...?

I just had this problem. If your 4G/WIFI/BT isn't working you need to flash the boot.img from inside the ROM zip in fastboot. There are instructions in the OP.

Okay, I'll try it again. I shall update on this.

Edit: Okay, I did it wrong the first 2 times somehow. Thanks!
 
Sorry to double post, but is the most recent update that you posted for the phones firmware in this most recent edition of the MidnightRom that you posted on the 30th? I was only wondering because you posted about the firmware update before you uploaded the most recent copy of Midnight Rom.

Anyway, this ROM is super legit:

  • Battery only went down 4% overnight.
  • No FC's
  • Smooth like butter
The only thing that I would ask for is to have AOSP apps like Messaging and Mail by default... But I can easily replace those manually.


I'll send over a beer-sized donation :smokingsomb:

Hi dak, love your work! Just flashed this rom a few days ago from your sense-based one, and gotta say, one of the smoothest looking updates yet.

I've gotten a couple random reboots a few times though, and although boot times are fast, they have been a little annoying. >.<

EDIT: Just happened again after unplugging my device from charging.

You may have your overclock too high
