Help Ringtones for Calls and Reminders

My wife & I each have a Verizon S3 and both of us have custom rings for reminders and telephone calls. We both occasionaly "lose" our custom rings. We then go back in an reset the rings as we want and it again works for a while but at some point it will the setting of the custom rings.

Anyone else experiencing this issue and anyone have a resolution?

Only thing I can think of: your custom tones are they on your external sdcard? Get them from an app like zedge? If you'd like you can connect your phone to the PC and copy and paste the tones into your folders (ringtones/notifications/alarms/etc...) on your internal sdcard. Maybe that will solve it worth a shot

Good suggestion, it is worth trying (you were correct in assuming that we have them on our SD Card)
