Can I Use An Unlocked T-Mobile Note 2 on AT&T?

I'm eager to try the $30 a month t-mobile plan and see how their network is but I'd like to have the option to move that phone over to our AT&T plan later if I'm not satisfied. Does anyone know if the frequencies are supported to use an unlocked T-Mobile Note 2 on AT&T? Yes I'm aware that it won't have LTE.

Also does anyone know if the t-mobile monthly 4G plans (I think that's what they call the prepaid ones) work with hpsa+42? I'm eager to get in on that. Thanks for your help guys!

I had this conversation with an AT&T person on their tech chat thingy earlier, yes I know that they rarely know what they're talking about but it was worth a try. Here's how it went:

I created a thread specifically for this concern. Did you forget already?

T-Mo doesn't separate data speeds based on plan...if your phone supports the protocol, it will connect at the available speed. You may run into issue with using a T-Mo branded smart phone on the $10/mo "web to go" plan, but it should still get the higher speed tiers using an un-branded phone (e.g. Nokia N9).

The T-Mo Note 2 should qualify for at&t's $15/mo "Media Net" plan.

I was looking for that thread before I created this one, sorry! Mods if you could merge these I'd appreciate it. Thanks Colnago!
