Help Moment 2.1 Update Thread

Two questions:

1. Will the "Moment Flash" app (flashlight) work on 2.1?

2. Does this fix stuttering and streaming issues experienced with Pandora?

Both good questions. As for 1 I can say that if the app doesn't work, it can be adapted for 2.1 and probably will, quickly. It was written by a moment owner.

But the Pandora issue seems more and more like a hardware problem to me, and every time someone tries to say what the culprit is, there's a diff answer. CPU, accelerometer, buffer size... gremlins? Who knows.

I love how things digress around here. So casual!

But I dunno Zumaki - someone once said that the problem was Samsung's drivers for the audio, and their lacking enough cache size. Or something to that effect. I'm guessing that Android 2.1 needs new drivers - and maybe they'll fix this bug when they make those new ones.

One thing has me wondering though, wasn't 1.5 Cupcake; 1.6 Donut, 2.0 Eclair, and 2.1 Froyo?

2.0 and 2.1 are both Eclair, we do know Froyo is the next release but no one knows if that's going to be 2.5 or 3.0.

Right. The only thing we know for sure about Froyo is that the Evo 4G should run it, but even that could change.
