I keep seeing all these websites claiming that Verizon has "announced" the Incredible's release date... they haven't announced anything! Silly online media - plus no one is giving the proper forum sources credit.
 
So what do you guys/gals want in a Incredible rom. I plan on making roms like I did for Window Mobile for the HTC Apache. Fast Bloated or inbetween rooted not rooted... just trying to get an advance knowledge of what you guys/gals want

Blackout has done a fantastic job of wading through all this mess and has summarized everything up. Goes by day, and all you have to do is look at the first post.

I'm not saying "if you don't like it get out" ... I'm just saying, it is DEFINITELY easier to go there to get the play-by-play of the "good" stuff, and then come here for the friendly banter.

I agree. This is a great thread to really get caught up. We will probably be linking this to people who are too lazy to keep up around here. I, however, find some sort of zen in reading through a dozen or so pages twice a day. =P

Just to add my "Talked to a VZW rep" story, went into the Chicago store on North Ave., asked about upgrading when this comes out, asked about the adr6300 and the Incredible, and the store manager plead ignorant. Says it's not in their system, he has not heard of it. I took him to the Phonearena.com site where it has the "tipped to employees" story. He was like Colonel Shultz. He knew nu-theen'!! They are a bunch of tight-lipped sons of bitches over there.
 
Just a bit more logical confirmation.

In my four years of wireless sales, at Alltel then VZW, I would venture to guess that 95 % of our price changes, promo launches, and phone releases occurred on Thursdays.

The 29th is a Thursday.

And check this- after years of assailing agents for poor(er) service than corporate stores, if what has been posted is true, I will be front in center of the door when Best Buy opens on the 25th!!!!

WOOO HOOOO!!!!
