No dear, we cannot move into that neighborhood, it has several registered AF offenders and one notorios offender K***Y.

MM & Kappy, happy parole day!

I've been back to lurking since the "incident", but still paying attention. I wanted to say thanks to everyone who provided all the good info yesterday (including the unnamed sources of the posters) - a great, nay Incredible day yesterday.

Looking forward to NKT's info today.

Finally, given the promo stuff we saw yesterday, I feel confident that the release name of our phone will be...

HTC TheBox

Hey guys...Long time, first time blah blah. Didn't see this posted, hope I'm not double posting.

That's just a regurgitation of what came out here, if you're interested in seeing more than crappy pictures of the stuff here is a post with a link to the full .PDF file from best buy:

Keep on digging!

Just a friendly suggestion to people who don't religiously follow this thread (basically anyone who is sane), before you post something that you think is relevant check the pdf to see if your info matches it. Maybe the link to the pdf can be added to the first post or even the evergreen thread?

  • Finally feel like there is a solid date to plan around.
  • Looking fwd to the reviews prior to the release.
  • Hoping for a sub $300 price with all the Vz discounts.

Time to get as much practical detail about how to use the phone prior to its release so that I can use it immediately and not have a long learning curve once I have it.

If we get the users guide today, I think you'll be plenty familiar with the phone before you get it ;) I haven't decided if I will be excited about those reviews though - they will all end in an iPhone comparison and make me angry.

And that $300 price point, I couldnt see it being > $300. If the BB SKU lists it as $600 MSRP, after rebates you think it'd put it around $275 (with a new 2yr contract).

I saw his post from last night. Does that mean he actually HAS the UG in his possession or that he is trying to get his hands on it today?

Well, I think we can all gather from the nature of his post that he was being somewhat cryptic. I trust that he will get it to us as soon as he can and, while I don't know when that will be, I can find comfort in knowing that we'll see it today (probably).

On a side note, I'm finding it increasingly difficult not to buy into this current speculation. I told myself I'd just sit back and wait for something truly solid, but this just looks so good. I'm trying to remind myself of how SURE everyone was day 1 of CTIA. Even the sure things can fall apart and I hate that let down feeling after expecting things to go a certain way.

a $600 retail is common for smartphones, so I'm pretty sure it will be $199 with a 2 yr agreement.

If I didnt have this thread to read over every morning, my life would be more like this...

YouTube - Cartman comeon!

Edit: Name suggestion: HTC Satellite.
Edit 2: After I typed that all I can think of is that horrible Dave Matthews song where he says "satellite" 40 times. I hope its not named that.

I have confidence in the upcoming reviews, since Engadget did not make the dreaded iPhone comparison in their HTC Desire review. (Also, hoping that the 2 yr pricing is $200 after $100 mail-in-rebate as I have to pay one yr. pricing for this phone!)

Had an Incredible dream last night I had to share:

Someone from Big Red posted on this thread an offer to buy the Incredible NOW for $50. The funny part, you had to go to the testman site to purchase it. :D

Sad thing is that when he posts the user guide, Incrediblyback will call it fake and then we will have another 5 pages of argument :(

Hey guys I will try to get the user guide up shortly. It will be from my phone, so I don't know if its going to work. I can confirm a few things (sorry if they already have been confirmed) FM Radio, ROM: 512MB RAM: 576MB, AMOLED screen, digital compass, 802.11 b/g/n, and 1300mah battery. Unfortunately, the guide doesn't state camcorder resolutions.

Hang tight, guys...

Hi guys. I've been lurking for the last few days, but decided to post today. I've really enjoyed reading this forum, craziness and all. It is definitely a great source of entertainment. I'll be sad to see it go away when the Incredible comes out, mostly because I'm not eligible for my NE2 until July. :-( It'll be my first Smartphone. I currently have the MOTORIZR Z6tv. I'm looking forward to not having to push '333' to get an 'F' when I'm texting. :-)

Can't wait til it comes out and hear everyone's thoughts on it.

The stream of news coming in lately is great. Glad that we are finally starting to see some solid evidence that this device is coming soon. Thanks to NKT, MM, Kappy, Steven58 and everybody else who is providing useful information!
