Help Moment 2.1 Update Thread

Now the big question. Is DD03 final? I wish I could flash now, but it may have to wait till tonight or tomorrow (official release day?).
 
this a really good thing to start off my thursday!!! yes now if some good CHEF can get live wallpapers to work!!! please i know people might complain about batter but let us be the judge of that!!! there is alot of people who want it!!!
 
From the looks of it this isn't release version because gallery isn't in here but we got the gallery apk elsewhere and it works fine when implemented. According to some random guy aka unknown source on sdx he said he was a sprint employee and it's still no mention when release is and he was amazed we got a leaked ver.
 
I downloaded the sprint updater and followed the directions at sdx, but when using the updater it is not detecting the USB drivers. Any suggestions?

I think you are right on not the final version. There are still only 3 screen as well. I think we are going to have to wait longer than we think to get the sprint release...hope I'm wrong.

Well hopefully the final isn't to far ahead, but what we have now is great will take sometime for guys at sdx to put something together and once a chef jumps in we will have live wallpapers going also :)

To the other guy the person who leaked is basically anonymous at this time we just know him as 123321.
 
Went on to Sprint.com today to talk to a rep about the update and they said it will be available in April, and will go out in stages to the phone. I pressed a little more asking if they had a date in April and all I got as an answer was "Mid-April"
 
Yep, still sticking with 2 weeks after the Hero update as I was told ages ago. They just don't want to simultaneously launch 2 updates as this could be disastrous for them if they bung it up.

Hero is still rumored for Tomorrow, Moment in 2 weeks...

1. Uninstall ALL programs (in the add/remove programs menu) on your computer that says Samsung or Android. Then reinstall SWU upgrade software.

2. Make sure you are using the USB cable that CAME WITH THE PHONE. Other compatible USB cables may not work (they do not work for me).
 
Thank you! This seemed to work. It's now updating, although the elapsed time thing isn't doing anything. How long did the update take to do?

everybody keeps on saying that they have better signal strength but in the few moment from the start it fluctuates for me from 3 bars to ful bars it doesnt stay in one spot...i saw over at sdx that some guy had to reboot to kick it up and i did and it still the same one second ill look at full bars another secon 3 bars sometime 2...
 
Just took the plunge. Took about 1 minute to download to phone and abolut 3 for the phone to boot up. Starting to play with it now.
 
I flashed the new 2.1 and so far so good! HOWEVER, I can not get Pandora to work AT ALL!:confused: It won't even start to connect to the music:mad:
 
Hmm.... mine has been updating for 10 minutes now with no progress... any ideas as to what I should do?


Edit: I just unplugged and reconnected the USB cable and it seems to be working fine now. Sweet!
