Root [Verizon] Remove Wifi Notification running 4.1.1

I've tried the old way with SQLite Editor to try to remove the WiFi Notification on my Verizon Galaxy S3 running 4.1.1 and it doesn't work. Any Suggestions?

Are you talking about, when you open some apps, a popup comes up about connecting to wifi?

If so, go to menu/settings/wifi/notify me....and uncheck the box.

:)

No I'm talking about the notification that says Wi-Fi Off. Its in the ongoing part of my notification bar

Open the Notification Panel, tap and hold on the WiFi notification. Up pops the "App Info" box, tap on that. Then tap on "Force Close". This will clear the WiFi notification from the panel. I haven't run into any problems (yet) in doing this. The only thing is that every time you reboot the phone, this notification comes back on.
