Morning all!

Anyone watch the ubunu trailers. Looks jinf of interesting but very slow. Anyone else notiice a bit of android and windows 8 thrown in? ;)

Are you talking about the Ubuntu mobile os? I hope that never makes it off the ground. I'm afraid it will take some great developers away from the Android os, and generally split the community.
I don't see a huge advantage to having another Linux based mobile platform.

What do you all think?
 
Ye im talking about ubuntu. It seems too complecated with all the swiping though and the fact it cant run on a gnex very well means it would only be able to run on super high end devices. Altough the lag could be down to the fact its still in development stage. I dont think it will take off as i doubt it will have the backing long enough. In the end it will die out but not before it puts up a fight. Also im not sure if there is room in the market for another os. Also apparently they could be going through some patent issues with the favourite apps bar on the side as that apparently first featured in bada os.
 
Take away for dinner tonight. Not from a chipper though (Fish and chip shop) but from eddie rockets. Its a dinner type thing. Im getting some buffalo wings and garlic fries ;) :D
 
I would love some good Mexican food tonight. There's a place in St Paul called La Cucaracha that sells mainly locally sourced and organic food out of a dive-bar restaurant. Best mexican food ever.

Grabbing some greasy food and will see the wife shortly. It's just becoming a way too long week.
