Does anyone use one if so, how do you like it? I want to get one but I don't know if it's worth it? If you have one and you think it's worth it can you name the one that you have and how much it cost you? Thanks
 
i dont really use it but i have tried my extra mac bluetooth keyboard and it works great. But i would recommend buying one that is the same size as the Nex7.
 
I use a Motorola Bluetooth keyboard that also has a pull out trackpad. It is absolutely fantastic. Despite it's relatively small size, it feels like a full size keyboard. My wife who is a very fast typing professional secretary had no trouble using it. The keys feel really nice.

The bluetooth connects flawlessly to the N7 in just a couple of seconds and off you go.

PS: There are also some similar Motorola keyboards without trackpad and also with a mouse. I use my OTG attached trackball mouse (the one shown is the wireless model) in addition to the trackpad but my wife prefers the trackpad because that's what she is used to from the laptop.

Key size is my biggest concern, but I spent years typing on small phone keyboards, so hopefully it won't be that much of a difference.

Got this in the mail today and I'm pretty happy with it so far. It's going to take some getting use to cause of the size, but it's good. Set up was easy and I love that it clamps to the N7 as a case.

I think the only real draw back is that you have to insert the N7 in power and volume rocker down, do if you need to access the switches you have to pull it out.

i just typed all that on the keyboard, so let's look for types...lol.

That must not be very convenient. For the Volume control, you can get a little app, but for sleep and power-off, you need to move the N7 (I guess).

That solves this one. So it is actually not too bad. You only have to take it off the stand when you want to completely shut down - which you probably never need to do since it is constantly loading. I wonder though how good that is for the battery.

The key board actually has a separate battery that can be charged with a standard charger. I never shut my N7 down except to reboot. I love the fact that you can use the keyboard as a cover, makes an awesome little clam shell.

I actually have a non bluetooth keyboard that came in the mail today that is a whole case that plugs in with a OTG cable, but I prefer this keyboard. Was easier to use, way easier to set up, much more attractive.
 
Looks like a really good deal. I probably would have bought that. But now I have my whole gear - a very nice sleeve and the Motorola bluetooth keyboard. The wife would hit me if I made new investments, LOL.

Got one of those from Amazon for under $20 shipped. I didn't have the problem with it turning off when inserted in the keyboard, but it also doesn't turn off when snapped into the case, so it probably doesn't have the magnet.

It looks like ASUS designed the thing. Hope it holds up.

If anyone is thinking about buying one of these, before you do, turn your N7 on its side and imagine the top quarter is not there. Then imagine fitting 61 keys in the remaining space leaving a quarter inch of space around all 4 sides. If you have fat fingers and you insist on typing with every one of them, you're not going to like it.
