What are your requirements/deal breakers with a droid?

For me it definitely needs to have the following minimum specs.

4.0 inch screen
1.5
Android 4.0
removable battery
4g LTE
micro sd card support
8.0 mp

I still don't understand how some android developers make droids without a removable battery or micro sd card support.

Are you referring to phones made by Motorola for the US market, or about Android phones in general?

I think "droid" is a registered trademark of Motorola, and possibly Lucas Films as well. When I hear "droid" used in reference to smart-phones, I assume Motorola.

Look good
> 4 inch screen
Nice, clear high res screen
No less than 2GB storage
at least 1 GB ram
Good camera
at least dual core
good battery
gets updates

Droid is a registered trademark for a line of phones on Verizon and used under license from Lucas. Most Motorola, but HTC also has had Droid phones, like the Incredible and DNA.
Yes, and bearing that in mind, my requirement would be one of the Motorola ones. I like the way they're laid out, and how they feel in my hand.

That's funny that they actually paid George Lucas to use the word "droid". There's too much prior art out there for Lucas to have any hope of defending an IP claim on the word. Methinks they did it only for the geek factor. :D
