What are your requirements/deal breakers with a droid?

Android 4.0
removable battery
4g LTE
micro sd card support
8.0 mp


I still don't understand how some android developers make droids without a removable battery or micro sd card support.

It would also not have to belong to Verizon. I associate Droid with that carrier, and I wouldn't change for a phone.

Are you referring to phones made by Motorola for the US market, or about Android phones in general?

I think "droid" is a registered trademark of Motorola, and possibly Lucas Films as well. When I hear "droid" used in reference to smart-phones, I assume Motorola.

Yes, and bearing that in mind, my requirement would be one of the Motorola ones. I like the way they're laid out, and how they feel in my hand.

That's funny that they actually paid George Lucas to use the word "droid". There's too much prior art out there for Lucas to have any hope of defending an IP claim on the word. Methinks they did it only for the geek factor.
