To keep this on topic, Dell Mobility just dropped the price on the Droid to $19.99 on a 2 year renewal/upgrade - just for your birthday.

Or maybe in light of next week's announcements. I can't figure which. :rolleyes:

Yea for transfers over the network. Thats why on most of my phones it ask's me if I want to save for send or memory card. If I choose save from memory card why wouldn't it give me the option to save it in the highest quality possible. Especially for the Incredible sense it has 8GB internal memory. Sorry to bring up the iPhone but when I get video messages from my friends with iPhones both the sound and video quality is better than any videos I send to them. If ATNT's crappy network allows them to send quality videos why cant Verizon. Ohh and also I really hope when recording video the audio is AAC cause the Snapdragon supports it and there is no reason for it to not be used. Anything lower than AAC will make your videos sound very terrible. Pretty much all cellphones dont record very good audio. Last time I checked its 2010

Just curious...how many of us here are female? I am the only person I know "in real life" that is a total tech-gadget freak. IIRC, it seems like there are around 5 of us here.

And to keep the OT police away, I'm now vaccillating on getting the Incredible or keeping my Eris. I installed the 2.1 leak last night, and now that I'm reading about class 6 microSD cards possibly helping the phone's responsiveness, I may just hold onto the Eris until LTE launches. But then again if I can't stay away from AF after the Inc's release, I'm sure jealousy will get the best of me. ;)

I'm not a woman, at least not since I last checked, but in order to help keep your request OT, I'd go with buying the Incredible. I'm sorry but the Eris hardware is too dated for my liking. Plus you can just be all cool and tech geek girl with a stupid hot phone.
 
I just told my husband I wanted to go to the Verizon store again tonight after dinner. He said he is afraid they will take out a restraining order on me before the Incredible even comes out.

In his defense, I have been there a couple of times and I even bugged a guy at Best Buy today. I don't even like Best Buy. But I really want this phone!!

I vote for Maui. I will be there April 24- May 1. I have already checked and found two Verizon Wireless stores on the island. I hope this isn't a Best Buy only release in April or I will have to swim to Oahu to get my phone.

I was counting about 8 or 9.
I played around with the Eris while we were waiting to be helped but it just wasn't tempting me enough.
on a side note though I did leave the Evergreen thread up on the phone when I got done playing around with it ;):D

Well, I do have until the end of tomorrow to return my Eris... :o

(and in my defense, so no one calls me a renter...:D...I hadn't heard of the Incredible when I upgraded)

You KNOW you want the Incredible! And you'll only have to go without for a short time now and we know that it exists for real. Don't give in, take it back! for the sake of all of us tech-girls out there :D

I second that- You KNOW you deserve an INCREDIBLE phone. You'll just be sorry later if you dont go for it:)
 
I had a dream about the incredible last night. I had the phone and it was, well... incredible. But the dream turned into a nightmare after I put the thing in my pocket and scratched the hell out of it. I took it out of my pocket and looked at it and almost began to cry. Then I woke up and realized it was just a bad dream.

Why am I having a dream about something that isn't even out yet?

I was there last summer, and the Verizon Wireless stores get new things after others, being in the middle of the ocean and all.

I can relate! I really try to limit the number of times I ask if we can swing by the Verizon store. I even like going by when I'm no where near upgrading. I'm crazy. BUT the good thing is that the VZW store is in the same plaza as one of DH's fav stores. So, I tend to visit VZW and meet him back there later...LOL

Congrats to those coming off of probation!

And I'm super excited to be close to finally have this phone in my hands, hopefully attached to a "Happy 21st Birthday Darling Daughter of Ours" Card :p

Let's keep the optimism of this forum going!!

I couldn't find a way to get Visual VoiceMail without paying for it anywhere. Also, how long should it take to get GVoice after you request it? I requested a number at least 2 months ago and haven't seen anything yet. Any ideas?

Yeah, I'm getting it from my DH as a belated b'day present. Of course if the supposed March 25th release date had been kept/correct, it wouldn't have been late... :)

Oh well, it'll be worth the wait in the end.
