Help Galaxy S3 turning off

My phone has started turning off and freezing. The biggest issue is that I have to remove the battery for the device to boot up again. Any ideas?
 
Phone is completely stock. Have no battery drain issues either. My battery life is pretty decent actually. Might have to remove some apps and see.
 
You could try powering the phone off completely, wait a few seconds and then remove the battery, clean the contacts, put the battery back in and then start up the phone again to see if this helps.
 
Had this happen to me. I had to send out for replacements 2 times. The 2nd time finally worked. You should be withing the manufacturers warranty so swap it out

I had the same problem after updating to 4.1.2. It constantly froze but I found out that it may be an app running causing it to freeze. I removed an app called 'BetterBatteryStats' and the problem stopped. Try to find any recent apps that may be malicious or something. Delete them and try that.

Noticed you're running JB 4.1.2, but you don't have your carrier listed. Is this a custom rom you're running, and which model G3 do you have? I currently own the SGH-I747, and highest stock rom I can run is the JB 4.1.1. Many thanks.
