Root [Verizon] How to extract the gallery app from SynergyROM?

Hello,


I'm currently on SynergyROM169, and while I like it has some bugs. I'm going to switch back to cleanROM, because I've always had better performance with that ROM and never had a complaint about it. The thing I really liked about SynergyROM is that the gallery app is awesome! Not the 4.2 camera/gallery apk, but the stock gallery app is either updated or modified and it allows you to move pictures and create new albums, etc. CleanROM includes the basic gallery that doesn't let you do anything.. haha. So while I wish to switch back to CleanROM, is there a way to extract the gallery app from Synergy and replace the CleanROM gallery app? I tried backing it up with TI but when I installed it, it didn't work :/

I'm not sure if the gallery app with Synergy is just available for SynergyROM, or is there a mod for it floating around somewhere?

Any suggestions? Thanks for reading!

Just found that, and flashed it on cleanROM 5.6 and have the Note 2 gallery and Camera. The note 2 gallery app is a lot better.. allows you to make new albums and move pictures etc. Posted that if anyone was curious.

So happy I found that! I found an AOSP messaging app for cleanrom as well. Now I can run cleanROM and use AOSP messaging and the note 2 camera/gallery app :D!
