registering two skype account on androied phone

Hey Guys,

Need your helps, I couldn't find any app or setting to register second skype account on my new galaxy s-3.

I am having two skype account, one is for personal & one is professional. I am using both account frequantly. Normally I am online on my professional account & when needed to call to my family or friends, I use my personal account.

My Issue is,
Earlier I was using Nokia N-900 & there I added as many account to skype as I can..but only one can be online at a time. Thats fair.. if I have to use another skype account ..I just had to disable the first one & enable to second one..within 2 - 3 clicks on phone, its done..very simple,

But here on Android..its a hell. Everytime I have to logout from my skype account & login as a different user giving password again, then again I have to login as a first user..

I wasted three days on internet finding out any app which can help me for this issue..I go through with im+, imo...but none is supporting voice call.

If some knows solution, please let me know..

Thanks in advance.

Just a guess here kind of, but I think that is a skype thing. If they did not build multi-user into the Android version of Skype they would be the ones to add it. I don't think it is an Android limitation.

Though I don't know why they would do it in one and not the other. But that has happened with other apps.

Thanks gtbarry for quick reply, but I would say its not skype thing. Because, in N900: I was able to add as many account in Gmail, skype, jabber while in android I can't add second account in any of the above mentioned. So it seems its issue of OS itself. In N900 OS is maemo 5 while S-3 has jelly bean 4.1.2. Its very strange that nokia is no longer supporting their Maemo OS & going forward for windows but they had very good features except of battery & bulkyness.

It could still be a Skype thing; if the Skype devs chose not to add this feature on the Android version, it would not be an Android or S3 issue, but it would be a Skype issue.

Don't be offended but you want to say that Skype, google talk, AIM, ICQ, MSN messanger, SIP..all messenger made such version specially for N900 where one can add more then one account while they all didnt integrate this utility in to their android version. ???? it may possible but I couldnt take it. Bye the way..seriously thanks a lot for dropping by here & giving your thoughts.

Well, I don't use AIM/ICQ, MSN Messenger or SIP, but the Google Talk app does allow multiple accounts - I have three set up on my S3.

Gmail offers multi account functionality.

Not many other apps would because Android was designed primarily a phone OS and phones aren't generally shared between a number of people so there's no real need to have a per app, multi account option.

They've added multi user support to 4.2, so you can have multiple users set up on one device, each with their own profile. Until there's a real need to have the sort of thing you're after, that's as good as it gets I'm afraid.

Yup..just checked Google & indeed, I can add one more account. Thanks a lot..but why can't skype & if skype itself doesn't have this functionality then is there any other way around ..cause its very annoying to login-logout-login on phone with capson/off- numeric password is very frustrating..

I saw, some applications on computer but none on android, & looking from the no. of view of my thread: I assume there are people out there who are also interested in this issue..so if any way around ??

Thank president(El) too..for dropping by & giving a wisdom words but please its important for me to resolve this issue so if you know any way around then suggest.
