I BELIEVE that the Primary Account is the only account eligible for the Annual Upgarde through Verizon. The Primary Account can upgrade with discounted pricing 12 months into a 2 year contract but they lose the NE2. All other lines have to wait 20 months into their 2 year contract and get discounted pricing.

Although I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Agreed...If they look anything like the images we've been seeing they look fugly. Microsoft's involvement with phone development reminds me of all the old NASA footage of rockets blowing up on the launch pad in the early years of the space race.

I totally agree, I think its going to be a junk phone..but tegra 2 in a mobile phone is a pretty big step in hardware...its just going to be so gimped by that crap phone its too bad

Most of the extended batteries of the last year or so come with the extra battery. Very few require you to buy the extended battery and than the phone. The extended back cover should be included with the purchase of the extended battery.

The only slight bad news for you guys might be that usually extended batteries are items we need to ship to you. They don't carry them in the store usually.



Not a clue, but I would assume it's gonna be pretty bulky.

Here's how I see it... Would Microsoft put a big ballin' @ss chip in a so-so phone? A phone that isn't even supposed to be top of the line?

Then again people put turbos in riced out 1980's hondas... So Maybe this isn't so far-fetched :cool:

Furthermore, it kind of angers me VZW would spend this kind of hype, time, marketing on these phones...

I dunno, maybe they will be announced and be much more than we thought (that'd be cool). But either way I won't buy them. Not after seeing the incredible and Android 2.1 looks so cool. I have little to zero faith in windows mobile and microsoft (regarding cell phones).

Again, I see windows mobile like the spalding and Android like Nike or Reebok.... Why bother with the cheap walmart spalding shoes (nothing wrong with that. works for some people), that will most likely roll my ankle going up for a rebound, when I could purchase Nikes that are proven (expensive, yes), but will offer me good support and last longer. Not to mention, higher quality.

So, another lurker emerges. I've been shopping new phones for about two months, debating between Droid or Eris... Then I discovered the Inc. I've been dead-set on this phone since I first read about it, and most of that reading was done here. Now that the time is approaching, I figured I may as well register and begin participating because I will want to do so even more once I have the phone. Anyway, thanks for all the info and insight provided here. I look forward to being a part of the community.

Spalding still makes shoes? Also.. I did not know you could buy a major brand of shoe at Walmart...:confused:

Okay... that makes sense. My two year contract has been up for a few months now so being a secondary line I should be eligible for discounted (promo) pricing if I re-up for another 2 years.

Two years with the Incredible will be just fine by me! (unlike other phones i've previously owned)

I think you guys with inside info should just PM Anonimac with the info before getting in trouble with your company. This will keep your job safe and continue to give us info in the future. Your info is great news and we want to continue enjoying it years down the road. :)
