Root Android 4.2.2 questions

One thing I noticed is adb isn't working. It's showing the device as offline...

EDIT: Wiped Data and still problems...

Sounds like a real issue. Since you've already wiped data, might as well flash the full factory image to see if it's something with the boot, bootloader, or cache partitions.
 
After doing ALL that work, ADB still shows the device as offline... It was working from within recovery though
 
Gonna try a source build of the SDK

Three and a half hours later, still compiling. It's making my computer run slow

EDIT: The problem was the "more secure adb"
 
So how would I check if any cm builds have been updated to 4.2.2 there was a nightly build update but I'm sure that was just a normal nightly update
 
I will be back here before the next OTA
I am going to update a little differently next time LOL...

So do you guys/gals think 4.2.2 will the issue of my N7 resetting my router's connection everyone? I have tried manually resetting the router and after I rooted my N7 I thought that maybe it would fix the problem but it didn't.....maybe I need a new router? My G'nex works fine on the wireless. Thanks everyone for your feedback.
 
Well I found a AOKP build of 4.2.2 its a lot smoother than 4.2.1 don't really use Bluetooth so don't know what they were talking about when the said it will fix something about it

PS. I found when I installed the status bar and nav were both transparent just simply change it to 100% in rom control to make them not so transparent

Atm I am on the newest for the Gz'One Commando C771.. Is this a custom rom for this phone. I can believe there is obe out.... How do you like it?

You have to update your SDK to the latest Revision.

4.2.2 brings extra security over adb.

This requires that you have adb version 1.0.31 (available with SDK Platform-tools r16.0.1 and higher) in order to debug on a device running Android 4.2.2 or higher.

Which rom is least ram user I'm running AOKP 4.2.2 latest build and have 553mb free with no apps running any suggestions
 
I keep getting this on the latest cm10.1 nightly

I wiped cache I switched from aokp ver. 4.2.2

Hey friend,

Couple of things...

I can't see your screenshots. Since you are using dropbox to host those files, you might want to check your settings to make sure those pics are in a public folder so anyone can see them.

As far as RAM goes, let's make sure you understand how RAM is handled in Android OS versus, say, Windows.

RAM is dynamically handled in Android using a JIT or Just in Time Compiler. So when the system needs more RAM to function properly, it will kill a process to free up space in RAM to get a task done. Also, the reason half the RAM is being used is because the OS itself needs some RAM to run. And process that run at boot, apps that you have autosyncing, all the moving parts that make for a great experience need those RAM resources.

So long story short, your N7 is cool. Don't worry so much about the RAM.
