Verizon 4g phone?

I was just looking into some news and saw that metro PCS will have a 4g phone before verizon does....

Does anyone know if verizon plans on coming out with a 4g phone anytime soon, and if so what it will be?
My 2 year upgrade is in june so i was hoping they would come out with a 4g phone before than haha ;)
 
In short, NO.

VZW doesn't even have 4G operational yet. Don't expect 4G from VZW untill mid 2011 or early 2012

I don't know, according to Engadget, Verizon is set on covering 1/3 of the United States by late 2010/early 2011--whether they'll have a 4G phone (worth using) is another question altogether.

Really does seem unlikely to me. There are a lot of roadblocks and red tape. In developing wireless networks. Projected dates are rarely ever met.
