Speed Forge 3D - new racing game

Looks v nice. V nice indeed. Would be even sweeter with a bit more track variety rather than flat the whole time - jumps/cliffs/loopdy-loops/corkscrews. I know that's more like f-zero than wipeout, but it definately adds another dimension & re-playability.

Thank you for nice words :)

That game is not in the market because only citizens of few countries are allowed to sell there (Poland is not one of those as yet). We are planning to add our game to other shops as well.

Cheers,
Marcin

Hi Marcin , Any chance you can spare a few on here a copy of its APK so we can test it???

I know it's a long shot but You don't ask you don't get :D

Thank you

Hi,

Demo should be ready by tomorrow and it will have all the small upgrades we were working for a while.
Hope you will enjoy it! And yes, it should be also available on Android Market.

Regards,
DummyBoy

Hi,

demo is already available at Android Market. We are uploading it to SlideMe as well.

Btw. We updated the game to version 1.2.0, correcting all the small things :)

Hi DummyBoy - I was emailing Robert because i bought it on slideme at the weekend, but it doesn't work on my samsung galaxy - are the corrections anything to do with that?? I said i'd send him a video of it on my phone when i got a chance, but i didnt hear back from him last email, so dont know if you still need the video??

I am downloading it now, but wow 5+ MB is a huge app on this platform.

I would suggest working to reduce that. Is that audio or visual that takes up the most space in your app?

Issues:

Size - as mentioned above
Screen - make sure you take control of sleep settings to override them or provide that as an option, my phone went to sleep during a race, this caused the most issues, especially after it went dark, and music continues and game appears to not pause.
Loading - during the initial "open app" screen with your logo, and the race loading screen show a progress bar
Controls pre-game - they seem a bit sluggish, like the touchscreen is really precise
Controls in-game - they seem a bit sluggish like I am driving a very heavy ship

Keep up the great work, I can see this being a game changer.

I have it installed and working, as reported in my next post. It is challenging, but the issues make it hard to play.

As I said, awesome and looking forward to seeing it evolve.

Hi,

I have contacted Samsung support, to check what is wrong. They told me that they are going to check it on newest software. I am very sorry that it doesn't work. You can write to SlideMe to get your money back (they will contact us and we will agree to do so), or you can give as lil more time :) We are doing our best, but the problem is that none of us owns Galaxy.

Thanks for your post,
Marcin

That is true, that screen is dimming if you don't touch it. We are working on that now. I only don't understand what do you mean by saying that:

Controls pre-game - they seem a bit sluggish, like the touchscreen is really precise
Controls in-game - they seem a bit sluggish like I am driving a very heavy ship

You can change sensitivity in a game options if default settings are not right for you. And yes, ship may fill lil heavy, beacuse each of them is different. We intended to make it that way (some more for one ship, less for other ones)
