How to solve the problem of ' application cannot be installed in the default install location'?

I've a Samsung Galaxy S2 which face a problem of whenever I update or want to download new apps, ' application cannot be installed in the default install location ' will show up when my phone clearly states that I've enough memory for the app. I've been to Google to search for some resolutions. But it all relate to the SD Storage Card which I only have a Internal Storage and a USB Storage. How do I solve this problem without relating to SD Storage card?

go to settings>go to storage>go to preferred install location>untick SD card

also how much storage space do you have for apps? you might be running out of room.

Application cannot be downloaded to default location
welcome to the forums!!!

that should work for a galaxy s2. what phone do you have?

can you give us a better picture of what is going on? like what phone you have? does this happen when you download apps?

and @Android323537 and @robmar53, i would post this question more in the samsung galaxy s2 and which ever your carrier is forum (or whatever phone you have) where folks with your device should be able to help you out better.

The exact same thing happens to me very often! I have a Samsung Galaxy Note... Could you please tell me the solution to this problem because it kills me that I can't have some apps.

I have been having the same problem on my galaxy and I fixed it by clearing the cache of google play store. If you go to settings then applications, scroll down until you see google play store click on it and clear the cache and you should be good to go after that. I was. Good luck with it :)

I have encountered the same problem/error. all you have to do is restart/reboot your device, and it should be working fine. :)
