Nexus 7 Official Dock - Where in stock?

Hi all,

Though the official dock was released in January, I cant find anyplace it is in stock for the MSRP of $40 (or less).

Anyone come across availability in the US of the dock? I'm mainly insistent on the official dock because it uses the POGO connections so that I don't have to keep plugging-in the N7.

I went onto Asus' website and it's not on there either. I'm thinking it was not made available in January as stated.

I'm a fan of pogo pins too. I'd love to see an official car mount with pogo pins.

Even better, I would like to see a double DIN head unit equipped with pogo pins and a latching mount on the front that uses an N7 as the display. That would be epic! Custom look without all the fabrication to dash mount a tablet!

I saw it available on amazon a couple weeks ago for $54 with free shipping. Then when I was ready to get it, it jumped to $98. When is it gonna be in the Play Store?

Frustrating.
 
The N7 Dock is on back order but still listed at B&H Photo. I got 2 from them but had to pre-order.

Through bitter experience with Nexus peripherals (N1, GN) my view is to get in quick and order early, because they don't seem to last long. I set up a google alert to help keep track of vendors and release dates.
