Root [Verizon] Sound profiles not "respected"

Hello,

I'm running cleanrom 5.6 on my S3. I have a bit of a problem... say in the facebook app I select "vibrate" to notify of new posts, it will vibrate when I have sound enabled. I would like it to only vibrate when it's in vibrate mode, or sound and vibrate. Is there a way to force this?

It vibrates when it's in vibrate mode.. what I don't want is it vibrating in sound mode. I want sound mode to just be sound, if I want vibration and sound then I'll switch it to sound and vibration... haven't been really able to find a solution via Google . Facebook has a vibrate notification option, and I want that. I want it to vibrate when it's in vibrate mode...but I find it annoying that it vibrates in sound mode as well.

Ah, gotcha...hmmm, I am not sure on that. I suppose I can liken that to my gmail (since I don't use FB). I can set it to vibrate, or vibrate and sound but cannot specify to vibrate when the phone is set to vibrate, then make an audible sound when the phone is set to sound automatically.
I see where you are coming from.

You would like the apps' notifications (vibrate), linked to your phone notification settings.
