Battery abuse?

Well I love my Droid RAZR HD and my battery life is fine for the way I use it. But I would like to know how bad it is even with modern battery's to just have short charging periods all day long.

I have a dash mount in my car and that's about all the charging my phone gets every day. Many one hour or less trips keep it charged with no problems but I am constantly taking it out of it's cradle to take pics or video and putting it back. Or putting it on my computer to download files and then back in my pocket. Will this destroy my battery or can it live with constant on/off charging. It seems to hold a charge fine, but I was just wondering?

I have read that frequent short charging times do not harm this battery since it is a lithium-ion battery. NiCad batteries were not served well with this sort of charging method. Heat is the enemy of batteries and long charging times will produce more heat than short charges. I think you should be OK.
