How many posts are we going to get from people complaining about a bunch of off topic posts including a drum roll...."I can't believe I had to waste several pages sifting through a drum roll...etc.." HA.

Funny. The "contact" I mentioned a couple of months ago, who told me that the N1 would NOT be sold in stores and that the Inc was still in testing and had not release date is the same person who authored the press release. I've been emailing her back and forth regularly since. She's a wonderful and decent person, who treated me with respect throughout. Classy. Funny, she'd be the one who authors the press release.

any info about the N1 maybe being released on the same day? despite following the Inc since it was the passion/dragon.. i still think i'd rather have the n1! (but if the release date is still unknown by 12:01am on the 29th.. incredible it is!)

I have in no way had a chance to get caught up to see if this has been posted but wanted to get it out there asap in case it hadn't.

JUST IN to my inbox:

I use a BlackBerry Storm 1 now, ready to try this phone. But I'm a little leary of pre-ordering. Mainly I want a better touch screen typing experience than I have with the Storm now. Is there any other phone in stores that I can experiement with ahead of time that should have the same experience as the Incredible, or do I need to wait for the 29th when I can touch THIS phone?

If you are faimiliar with the Storm, you will have some understanding of my concern about typing... :-(
