Depends on the kernel. Some can go up to 1.9 but remember the higher you overclock it the faster your battery will die

so i flashed the kernel and once i rebooted it just went to a black screen soo i had to wipe the system and reinstall the rom -_- i relly need the instructions on the correct way to flash it

I listed which one to choose...boot into recovery ..clear Cache/Dalvik Cache ..flash Kernel then reboot and you're done..**.Choose the one for ucs ..lk_s3usc_aosp_jb42-2.8**

Don't forger to wipe cache and dalvik before flashing and fix permissions after flashing :thumbup:

You can "dirty" flash nightlys. Just wipe cache and dalvik. If you use goo manager it has the option to flash it for you, just check the wipe cache/dalvik box

Make sure you have strong 4G signal or a good WiFi connection. Nightlys are versions of the ROM that are updated every day, sometimes its nothing and sometimes is just a small change.

I was thinking on trying it but when i go download it ask to choose nightly and release and then has other list which one do i choose? Im running pac man rom. Also any major bugs i should know about?

Go for nightlys. I haven't had a single bug on the nightly for a while and battery life is great

Anybody else having an issue getting April 9th nightly up and running? I get as far as the "Samsung Galaxy SIII" splash screen and that's it. The "carbon" screen never comes up after that. I'm installing over April 8th nightly.
