Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][OFFICIAL]CarbonRom 4.3

Jus did it and no still not working. I went into settings and my iccd says unknown not sure if its always been like that but my internet connection works and calls and everything

That's a known bug on all AOSP ROMs. I can't think any other reason why play store won't work. Try reflashing gapps, just wipe cache and dalvik
 
Ok i reflashed and its good but i try change density again and i notice everytime i change density i follow steps but right after i do the "clear all market data" thats when it stops working. Why is that is there a trick to make it work ?

Oh yea i forgot you changed your density. You have to follow the steps so it can work perfectly
 
What about goo manager saying theres an update for my rom should i ever update it or just stick to one im using

you dont have to update it bro but every nightly theres either something new fixed or something improved in a way its like cm new things are added to make it the rom better but sometimes it gets a bit worse or something breaks but its rare but up to you
 
And also can someone tell me where I can learn more about busy box just so I'm aware of the pros and cons
 
Official ..... Custom ROM... Now I can't get nothing to make media volume louder..... For Pandora and other media... No equalizer works....
 
switched back to this ROM and dropped the latest kernel on it. i like it.

anyone figure out how to get the weather for the lockscreen clock to work?
 
im on the stable 1.61. i've tried staying away from nightlies as they're more experiemental.

anyone know if stable 1.6 works better?
 
Hey guys, do you know if I can get photosphere on this ROM? also which kernel can I use with the latest nightly. I tried the one everyone uses but when I flash it.. it stays black.

Just use the stock kernel. And there's a flashable zip which installs camera, its in goo manager under itsmikeramsey folder
 
Ok so i recently flashed this rom to my wifes phone everything was good but now when she turns screen off instead of the beam its like scattered all over. And out of random times when in messaging app the screen jus goes ugly like when yu change tv to were theres no channel its all staticy? Don't know how to say but closest i can describe any ideas. I updated the rom still have problem flashed same rom on mine and no problem

I noticed the nightlys have been having screen issues that's why I'm on 1.6.1 stable version
