Root Motion build.prop tweaks?

Did you try fat 32?
Thats better if your phone reads it
I use fat 32 i think its faster for larger files
Or is fat all you could get to read?

Once you get alot of stuff that redeahead file i posted will make a huge difference

Thnx i wll do that... I was told it was not posible to get our phone to read a 64g sd but mine does probably it will read faster my sd
 
Sorry i missed this
There should not be a file extension
If when downloading .txt was added remove it
And i made another change,this is twice the readahead for sd then before
I have a 32 gig class ten card thats 31 gig full
When i boot scan takes like 3 seconds

Yeah make sure no file extension and put in boot buddy or init.d
What this does for me
Root explorer is faster .in large folders icons load faster
Ya makes boot sd scan superfast for both internal and external sd
Have you ever downloaded a large file using torrent?
When its done you Force Recheck to make sure its 100% complete
The check seems like forever ,this greatly speeds it up
Apps load quicker
Watching a movie if i fast forward or rewind its at the spot as soon as i touch it
I would assume copying files to a computer woukd be way faster with this file i just posted

Except the internal sd readahead is larger

This file really enhances the speed of inteternal storage and sd card
Pop it in init.d or bootbuddy and reboot
If you dont like it delete it and reboot
But i can tell you ,compared to stock my sh## smokes

Stock setting
When your phone is using sd int or ext
It picks up 128k to read and loads the next 128k into ram to be read. next
This file reads 2400k int 1200k ext while reading and loads those values into ram to read next
And of course ram is the fastest of all three

Bro... This is sick... My 64gig move like crazy.. Same on internal... Thnks bro....

My internal sd is almost full
My external has 31 gig of various files
At boot both are scanned in maybe 4 - 5 seconds
When i setup my laptop i need to transfer files to laptop
That may go faster also
 
I install all this and i have an issue my youtube app wont work i click on any video the only thing that it does the screen on the video appears black but on the video keeps playin cuz the time that plays it shows it in the screen
 
no offense, but with the spelling in your guys' posts....maybe try triple checking your build.props for spelling errors....just sayin'

Ok well i am not sure why your youtube doesnt work
But the second list you posted is for a totally different way of changing settings
Thats sysctl not build props
Go ahead and remove the second list from your build prop
 
The phone doesnt come setup to simply copy n paste for it to work
But i will try to get you instructions on how to set that up sometime tomorrow
