Hi All

Newbie here, had a dvd course sent to me which I have transferred onto my Laptop.

I want to view on my Samsung S3. It is camtasia videos which give me the option to view as swf or avi (win media)

However when I try and move the whole file over to vid folder on phone I only get sound.

Any help greatly appreciated

MX Player is a video player which allows you to play a larger amount of video formats than the stock video player which is installed in the stock Android operating system. I'm sure it will play your videos and it has a free trial.

You can search for it in the Google Play store or alternatively click on the web link below.

If it doesn't play using MX Player there us a strong chance you may have to convert your Avi camtasia files to a more standardised Avi format, as the Camtasia video recording software codec isn't a part of MX Player. Most normal video formats I've played using MX Player which have codecs which aren't based on screen capture recordings work.

You could try other video players in the Google Play store but I would suggest a free video converter on your laptop, or software such as AVS video converter which I find exceptionally fast.
