Just wondering if anyone knows if you can get the standard Android dialer/contacts like the one from the Droid on an HTC Sense Android phone? Cause the one thing I really didn't like about my Eris was the dialer and contacts.

NE2 only applies for contracts that are... well 2 years long, right? so if i'm due for an upgrade in july but only sign for a year vs two.. ill lose my NE2, wont i?

haha yeah, im stoked. almost bought a couple games w it. glad i didnt

yes ne2 only applies to contracts that are up, I think technically you can get an early upgrade but you dont get the 50-100 dollar credit. My contract ended on the 3rd of april so I get my 50 dollar credit :) not much but it helps

So.....I guess no one cares that I was already able to pre-order my phone? :)

I also had many questions answered that people are still asking...want me to share?

Ok then..:

1) If you buy the phone at Best Buy and purchase the VERIZON INSURANCE ($7/month), The phone MUST be serviced BY VERIZON. If you buy the BB Black Tie coverage ($9.99/month), You bring the phone back to BB. There is no deductible and they give you a NEW phone, not refurbished.

2) It's a PRE-ORDER! YOU WILL NOT WALK OUT with this phone this week. However, BB could give a crap about the release date, and pre-orders will be notified if they receive the phone a day or two earlier than the 29th!

So there it is. I'm not at home yet, so I can't post my receipt for those of you who don't believe me (You know who you are). But it doesn't say Incredible anyway...just shows that I have a $50 gift card for Best Buy. I will post the pic later.

They'll care about the release date when Verizon sees that they are activating them early. You might talk to people that don't care now because they don't realize the situation yet.

No doubt some will be sold early somewhere but they'll hear from Verizon. Just don't count on getting one early based on what someone tells you before the shipment comes in.

I've never purchased insurance on any of my phones......I DID just get insurance on my dog.....pros or cons??? (Not on the dog......the phone!!)

what if you get neither insurance?? do you have to get it serviced at Best Buy if you buy it from there or can you take it to verizon corporate?

no he could just do an out of warranty exchange, granted the phone would be refurbished but better than paying full retail

I thought that was what insurance was for. My girlfriend has insurance and was out of one year warranty at Verizon and the guy explained that if she did not have insurance it would cost more than the $50 to get the refurb phone. This was only like two weeks ago and the sales rep explained that it used to be you would get a replacement for free with insurance but they have since changed it unless I was misinformed.

Why pay $240 for insurance, $10/month for 24 months, for a phone that costs you $200?

Chances are most people won't need to use the insurance on the phone. Put $10/month into a savings account. If at some point, you need to replace the phone, use whatever you have saved to help offset the cost. If you don't need to replace it, use the money you saved after two years to buy a new phone.

Why pay someone else to insure your phone when you can insure it yourself is what I say.

Plus isn't hardware problems in the first year covered by manufacturer warranty? And there is something like either 75 or 125 (think smart phones are 125) that you have to pay yourself anyway for a replacement...on top of the insurance. And then you are getting the equivalent phone back.

If you do the math on that its over 200 at the end of one year. I'd rather put that to a new phone

I never had insurance...and probably never will.

I've found quite a few actually. Since you've seen them what conclusions were drawn? Or anyone else who may know. Thank you!

The consensus is that the phone will accept 32GB cards, but 16GB is/was the largest available at the time of printing, so that's what the guide says.

There are some people who think maybe it's capped at 16GB, but those people are guessing. Others are emphatically stating that it does accept 32GB. It's still up in the air, but the 32GB crowd is MUCH more certain, abundant, and generally more knowledgeable.
