Help Galaxy s4 Battery in a S3?

Galaxy S 4 Standard Battery (2600mAh)

Does anyone know if this will fit in the S3? I'd love to have some more juice but dont' want to have a overall larger phone with a new back plate.

I just compared the batteries in my s3 and s4 and the s4 is significantly wider, so it will not work

You can get an official S3 extended battery though. I think its in the region of 3000mah and come with a new back plate so you can fit it in.

You shouldn't expect much increase in capacity without an increase in size - as the battery will have to use the same chemistry to be compatible with the charger, the volume of electrolyte is going to limit the capacity.
