Root [ROM][JB4.3.1][JLS36I][Unofficial] Chameleon OS Nightlies [11/9]

do you guys like andromirror? should i switch to something else? anything but goo.im im up for switching to (goo.im is in its upgrading mode)
 
Yeah, wtf? My CWM crashes or something and restarts when trying to flash this. I was on CM 10.1 and I did a full wipe/wipe cache/wipe dalvik and then tried to flash this. I have both the files(ROM and gapps) on my SD card. I select install zip from SD card then pick this and it says whatever it says "installing" or whatever then the screen goes black and I'm at the start menu of CWM... I still had CM 10.1 on my SD so I just flashed that and am typing this on my phone right now. I really want to try this ROM though. Any help? Thanks for reading.
 
:( the ROM I really want is Paranoid Android! It doesn't even have to be a new new one with the new "Halo" feature. But the customizability is so awesome. .

I was for about 2 weeks but it got more unstable as I went on and eventuallIy lead to me not being able to listen to take calls, listen to music, go on Reddit, or watch YouTube videos. The apps just kept crashing. The phone.app would actually crash in the middle of my call. And the other apps would just crash upon opening. I don't dirty flash at all and did 2 clean flashes again of PACman but within 3-4 days it just kept happening. I'm on CM now and I want to flash this(Chameleon). I will not be able to try to flash an earlier version till tomorrow so we will see.

Anyways, the main features I want from PA are the status bar on the bottom and change the color of the things in the status bar. I know thati can accomplish most of this with apps but I don't have the patience to find out how and stuff. Also, I can see you quoted me with what I said in my earlier comment/post(how do you call it?). How did you do that? I pressed the quote button on your comment/post whatever and it shows up weird. I'm using the web browser and not a mobile app.

I just press the quote button...For whatever reason the beginning of your quote was not written out correctly.
 
MY PHONE IS BOOTLOOPING FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. I did a wipe from CM 10 and cleared everything flashed this then gapps and now my phone is bootlooping after showing the Chameleon OS logo!!!!! WHAT DO?

Edit: I booted into CWM by holding power and volume down... This. Sucks. I really want to try this ROM but my phone just isn't agreeing... Going back to CM 10...

Edit: Screw it, I have decided to try again. Going to reflash this one more time.

Edit: Wow, it got to a black screen with the status bar at the top showing the battery and time and then shut down. Fuuuuuu. I guess I will be on CM 10 forever :(
 
how's everyone's battery life?mine went from full to 2% in 5-6 hours with minimum usage.What's the best way to keep battery life up?thanks

There's a handful of different ways that have varying amount of success for different people, you need to start by figuring out what exactly is causing it. Some people like juice defender, I personally use DS battery saver since WiFi is my biggest drain.... Make sure you don't have a bunch of apps running in the background...

That's why nobody answered your question, there really isn't one specific solution and it's been discussed many times throughout these forums and XDA. It's up to you to do the research and experiment with your phone and setup.

This. There's tons of ways.... the BEST way would be to turn the phone off. Battery should last days.

Other than that... get better battery stats and see what's killing your battery
