Root [Sprint/Cricket] Easiest way to get MD4 on rooted S3?

Rooted S3 is trying to update via OTA but keeps failing. I assume this is because I am rooted?

What's the easiest way to get the new update installed without factory reset or data loss?

Yes, it is because you are rooted. If you follow post #2 on this thread, you can do it without using Odin. I don't believe there is a way to update without losing data, so do a backup with something like Titanium Backup or MyBackup of your apps. Also, make sure that you do a nanoid backup in your custom recovery (CWM or TWRP) so that if something goes wrong, you can always restore your backup. You will want to download and copy the .zip file(s) to either your SD Card or External SD card and then flash them from custom recovery. The MD4 Baseband is for the radios and then either the odexed or deodexed MD4 file with is the actual update. If you aren't sure which one to get, get odexed if you have no plans to customize your phone and get the deodexed if you plan to install any themes or other modifications to your phone.

You may be mixing up the two responses above. No, you don't put an .exe file on the sd card. The instructions I posted are for downloading the .zip file(s) and flashing them via custom recovery.

I'm in the process of doing this, but am completely ******ed when it comes to these precesses.

Where do i find the .zip files to flash?

Assuming you are also rooted, toward the bottom of the link in my post above, you'll see 3 blue hyperlinks that say this:
MD4 Baseband / Modem / Firmware Zip

Odexed MD4 Zip

De-Odexed MD4 Zip

Those are the links to the file(s) you need. In my post above, the word "thread" is blue, which is the hyperlink to the post that has the link to those files.
