yea if you look under your type of plan and i have unlimited everything, you can see what discounts you have . for the longest i thought it was just 10% off but it's 25% .
 
oh and back on that google account . it's simple guys . the ones who don't know how . I mean you set it up like you would any other email account online . and when you enter contacts in your account online then enter your login info on your phone your gmail account and password. it automatically syncs up . so you never lose your contacts . so whatever you change online it changes on your phone to and vise versa whatever you change on your google contacts in your phone it changes on your online contacts . so when i get the evo i won't have to worry about putting in every single phone number .

well said gekko . i see you went and took a look . but i think one thing wasn't stated . even though premiere customers get an early upgrade i think that upgrade is just 150.00 off and when we wait the entire 2yrs we get the full upgrade off . that's how it was for me when i upgraded to the hero back in october . unless they changed it . but i doubt . i could be wrong

Speaking of which, is Android pretty much as simple as Win Mobile and WebOS when it comes to this? I already use Gmail for personal and Exchange for work. Ever since my Win Mobile phones I would sync my contacts and calendars and email with Google and Exchange so even as much as I flashed ROMs it would always just be a few minutes until all my contacts and such were back on my phone.

WebOS was great in that it had you enter Google, Exchange, and Facebook info at setup and then from then on, all three were always in sync with your phone. The thing is that this was one of their claims to fame last year and I take it other platforms have pretty much matched this functionality. I went on craigslist and was trying to find someone to trade my Pre for a Hero or a Moment to use for the next couple of months so I can get familiar with Android but there are no takers yet.

Basically I just want to keep the things I have now (sync with the three services I use for business and personal, web, email, streaming radio, navigation, chat, calendar, and a few apps for fun) in a better package with a big screen, more sturdy hardware, 4G, and improved cameras.

I have a $25 gift card via best buy rewards card. I bought a new laptop and pc back in January. Correct me if I am wrong but as a sprint premire don't we save between $75-$150 when we upgrade yearly? That's what I meant. Sorry for the confusion LOL..I am really excited about getting htc evo4g. Hopefully everyone is enjoying their weekend. :D:D:rolleyes::cool:
Well the N1, Desire and Incredible all have the same resolution and the Droid has only slightly higher by I believe 48 pixels the long way. Plus considering the phones are higher resolution than other Android phones nothing would be cut off, I guess it could be shrunk (I'm not familiar with how everything Android works).

I have never used Android before. I have the palm pre with webos. But I am ready for something new. Guess I am a techo geek LOL
 
But at the CTIA it said it had it on there already . I think it will come with it . Maybe not to other devices just yet . But we shall see
 
yes it was on some of the models. it was shown in the demo when he used googlegoggles for the eiffle tower, and went to the site.

i was able to upgrade to the pre as a premier member (it was actually less than a year since i got the instinct, but that was due to some heavy finagling), and i got the "new account" price. i expect it to be the same this year (even though they never reset my upgrade date when i got the pre, so i should qualify for the 22 month upgrade anyway).
 
whatever the price and i think it's obvious as to what it may be but I will pay . I'm just waiting for it to hit the shelves . until then i want more info up until then . i actually like the build up and waiting .

Man I have been saving up best buy gift cards that I got for Christmas and I have been making every one in my family use my rewards zone number so i get extra $5 and $10 reward certificates so I can have enough for my EVO when it comes out :D

I don't know if it was cleared up yet but what he meant by the 75$ part was since it has not been a year yet he get's 75$ off instead of a instant 150.00 off . Cause I to am a premiere customer and can upgrade every year with 150.00 off if i try before the year like idk 6 months or close to a year i get 75 off and when i wait for the 2yr contract which is for everyone we all get the full . But if that's the case I think I might do the same . then go to the sprint store and get accessories since premiere customers get 25% off on that .

and stevbl01 that's cool . I have a gift card to. Visa and it's 25 on it . I guess that can help but my pocket's won't hurt and I'll get the 75 off to since it's not a year . But your lucky . The more money saved the better .
 
Does anyone know if Android will sync to hotmail contacts like gmail does? What I am trying to say is you can sync or download your contacts from your gmail account to match your cell phone. I currently am on win mobile and I use hotmail the same way as you would your gmail to do the same.
