Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] secret code issue.??

i use to be able to put in *#7284# =(USB I2C Mode Control) and now for some reason i can't do it any more any body seen this problem.??
 
what rom are u in and if your not on a touchwiz rom dont bother since all aosp roms have that taken out.
 
ok then u gotta enable the hidden menu first each time u reboot. doesnt stay enabled forever. dial

should work on all touchwiz roms if not would have to reflash again what ive noticed sometimes while using mobile odin perhaps im doing something wrong is dialer codes wont work but if flash a touchwiz rom via zip on twrp then my dialer codes work. i might to play with mobile odin to see if its cuz im not clearing cache or whatever.

I guess I have to use Verizon dialer codes since axis Rom is Verizon based?

Sorry, i had already flashed metropolis before you said that, and i decided to choose the route thats more secure. im going to flash the reset to stock thru odiin method. one quick question about that process, does it remove root??

Yes but if u use mobile odin pro instead u can preserve root but other than that rooting is simple with shabbys method.
