My son and I each recently got a Nexus 7. I am used to a Kindle Fire. The Nexus doesn't have a folder that says BOOKS or DOCUMENTS so where do we put my books and his comics?

If you downloaded them for Kindle then you find the kindle folder and put them in there

If you download the kindle app, it will create its own folder then sync with your account so that any books you have bought will be available

If you have any other books in a different format, ie CBR for comics or epub for books, then just make a folder and direct the app to that folder. I personally use moonreader for books and perfect viewer for comics because of the bookshelf option they have

Easiest way to make a folder is via a PC and call it what you want. You just have to find it when using the app

I like the Android Kindle app though I found it was more limited than the capabilities of my e-ink Kindle. In order to read files outside of Amazon purchases and for the .mobi file format I use an Android app called "CoolReader." It works very similarly to the Kindle app. I just created and stored my files in a folder named "Books."

I downloaded the moon+ reader and now I have all my books on the nexus and I put it on my son's as well since it reads comics. Thanks so much for your help guys!
