Root Upcoming?

Would love to see some of the party time features on a stock jb ROM, like add the scrolling toggles from the notification shade to jb's, the lockscreen ticker, s voice, and removed bloat

And we need cm10 to get to miui
 
Now that would be nice to see a cm 9 or 10. I like the stock look. Anyone know how to get the stock look besides using nova or apex??

This will probably sound really really dumb, But how does one go about building a Rom? I have never done it before, but I would like to try to help in the goal of eventually getting CM x over here.

Are there any links that you would recommend that I check out?

Lots of good info on Google:)

Big things you need:
-Linux
-command prompt knowledge
-tons of patience
-ability to read :D
 
Or, if your more interested in changing the UI around you could get into themeing which is a little easier to understand
 
i am sort of Meh in both those categories lol.... But just to double check, should i work on a Ported version or build from source. (I should probably include that this is my First major project) And also Could I ask how to get on The IRC for this? I've never even used IRC lol
 
I would get right on this. However. My internet has like a million blocked sites. Many of which have no reason as to why they are blocked. Alongside this I'm lucky if I can get 50 kilobytes per second download speed.
 
Question?? Are there any themes out there for a complete stock jelly bean look?? I am on a deoxexed ROM.
 
having jb changes nothing :P

you guys coulda had 4.2.2 cm-10.1 with the release of this phone if someone had sat down and worked on cm then. getting a bump up to 4.1 doesnt mean the cm team is suddenly gunna learn about this phone and painstakingly work on it :)

if you want aosp you will need to get with the reverb community and start working on it. :D
 
Guys its Seraph from the Warp Sequent forums. My Dad has this phone, the stock ROM is awful. Whats like the best ROM for this phone. Basically like CTMod style, simply UI and speed.

PlayfulGod got us to 4.2 :). Fixing the sound now apparently. How is there no CM10 for this phone, whats the porting issue. Or is it like a device tree thing.
