Not really. A huge positive for android is its overall customization. Doesnt matter how it looks, just that the user likes it.

You can do it by installing Xposed framework from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 and the Icon Themer module from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40603494

[HOW-TO]
1.Install Xposed Framework .apk
2. Open Xposed Installer and click Install/Update then reboot.
3.Install Icon Themer then enable it in Xposed Installer. Reboot.
4. Open Icon themer and set a theme icon pack. Soft reboot and..
5.ENJOY!

Any theme icon pack for adw/apex/nova should work.
