I've got the same exact problem. I've been trying for about 3 days to fix and can't find a solution. I'll post any fixes I find for it

it allows me to flash recoveries in odin but not roms although the recoveries dont load just bootloop and if try to load my past beans 15 rom it says encryption failed :/

If you are truly on Verizon S3, here is a link to the firmware to flash in ODIN:
Goo.im Downloads - Downloading COMBINATION_I535VRBLK3_I535VZWBLK3_381038_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.md5

Make sure after the download, the MD5 matches....otherwise the download is corrupt.
If it is corrupt, just redownload it.

Hope that helps.
That link is from post 2 here:

@okcthunder...yes, I did see your other thread with the similar issue.

Try this also. :D

It will unroot you, but at least your device will be working.

did not work even using oem cable :/

Did you get the same error as in your first post?

Did you check the MD5 of the download? If you are not sure what that means, here is a good write up about it:

sometimes i think it diff error but mostly the same and yes i did check md5s and they were fine

I realize my next question might be silly, but your phone is in download mode when connected to the computer correct?

And make sure that Kies is either disabled or uninstalled. (Sometimes Kies causes issues when ODIN is open/running)

You should look at the Forum Mike started for me yesterday. It starts with CM10 then error msg. The problem was very simple after a few questions. I simply downloaded the wrong files. Hope you get your phone going.. GL http://androidforums.com/verizon-ga...727260-cm10-google-process-gapps-stopped.html

yes im not that much of a newbbb haha and i just uninstalled it even tho i never used it anyways and yes still a no go :/

Did you leave the drivers installed when you uninstalled Kies?
Is anything else trying to communicate with your phone when it's plugged in?

Perhaps a reinstall of the drivers.
What version of ODIN are you using? I think v.3.0 from the looks of the output text.

I was doing some searching around for other ideas based on a google search of "All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)"

I'm running out of ideas man :(

Last, but not least, do you have access to a different computer to try this out on?

This fix worked for me! Used odin with the md5 MIKESTONY provided. So glad to be back on a GS3, I wanted to throw my charge everday of using it. Thanks for the fix you saved me!
