[App help] Deleting torrents

Hi gang

So I've installed uTorrent on my phone and I just want to know how to delete the actual torrent file from my phone after the file has downloaded?

Anyone know? :confused:

Yeah, removing the torrent only deletes the listing from the app, not the data file. In Windows they're stored in uTorrent's appdata folder, I think only way to do it with Android app is to delete uTorrent app data in Apps manager. Dunno if a rooted phone could find the individual TORRENT Files in download directory.

@dee00,

Just to be clear what you want:

To remove the torrent content (music/video, etc) from phone, just go to d/load directory and select delete.

If you remove a torrent from desktop uTorrent client, the listing .torrent files remain in client's app data folder (Computer>Local Disk (C):>Users>Username>AppData>Roaming>uTorrent). You can select and delete as required.

You can remove the listing from uTorrent Android app on phone, from memory it's long tap then delete. This should remove the .torrent file that facilitates the content d/load. If not they're only a few KBs per file, and there's the option of deleting app data in Settings>Applications manager>All>uTorrent.

Hope that helps.
