You lucky bastard! Hopefully they don't stop the shipment half way! Hopefully they have made this mistake many times over and just decide to release it early!

haha yeah next time you talk to them, tell them to make that mistake on my order as well.

Awesome. Just hope they didn't fill a Droid Incredible (ADR6300) order with a Droid Eris (ADR6200). I can see that easily happening but hope it doesn't for your sake.

A good camera is highest on my list of what type of phone I want. Im glad both the reviews of this phone came out and also the leak of the new iPhone. Im not sure what to do. Incredible
Pro:
Large OLED display
Android with Sense

Con:
Cheap build quality
Tacky back
Somewhat decent camera
Video is choppy pix-elated and has terrible audio
No usb or hdmi on the bottom ( On the side is so stupid )
The hold and audio jack should be on opposite sides

iPhone 4G
Pro:
Higher res display
Very solid build with high quality materials
Great design
High capacity storage
Most likely better camera with better video quality
Stereo speakers
Dual mics

Con:
iPhone OS ( Big factor )
Locked down with iTunes
Smaller screen ( Big factor)

I really need help with choosing to get the Incredible now or just wait to see if the iPhone comes to Verizon.

... until I get my hands on D.I. I would not be passing any judgment ... truth be told, along with the hardware/software knowledge of the phone one must have basic knowledge of photography (capturing of light, if you will) to determine its capabilities ... If one is advanced enough in photography and an artist, he/she will be able to produce head-turning images with even the most basic equipment.


as far as 'plastic and cheap' ... I don't even wanna go there.

I hope you didn't tell them it wasn't supposed to go? They might stop it at FexEx...

I would have just waited till tomorrow and then been... oops!

One year the guy who the the sports illustrated mag's swim suit edition supposedly used "throw away" camera's for the shoot lol

A: I've never had any problems with ANY HTC product when it comes to build quality, so until you have held it in your hands, you can't say anything negative (or positive) about that.

B: It's an 8Mp camera, how is that bad ???

C: Great design? Really? They almost look identical and the Incredible is actually thinner than the iPhail

D: The iPhail only has w/e storage built into it. The Incredible has a slot for memory cards making its storage capability unlimited with multiple cards. I'd rather have the 8gigs built in and then the option to add more storage later as my needs increase.
 
Count me in the group that is not going to rush into anything until more details of this iPod 4g are released....that thing is dead sexy!!!!:cool:

This is what VZW has posted as its BodyGlove case. Not bad, but I like the idea of the other 'nameless' holster that has the screen facing inwards - more protection.

Has anyone else noticed that this specific case doesnt have a hole for the speakerphone?
 
Just got back from Best Buy after pre-ordering it!! It was a painless, simple process! I wasn't due for my NE2, but VZW took $100 off my next bill instead!! So I'll be paying $99 for the phone. The cool part is.. I have two giftcards for exactly $100!! So I won't actually be spending any money on the phone. I'm pretty excited!!

To top things off, I will be canceling my TXT msg service after I get the Droid Incredible and use GV to save another $20 a month :D

You are right. It's the light sensors that that make the camera not how many mega pixels it has. The camera may very well be better at taking pics and video. So, if you are looking for a camera that happens to have a phone attached then you should go with the iphone. If you are looking for a highly customizable, blazing fast, feature rich, Incredible phone. Then guess which you should choose.

Do you really want a phone who's main selling point for their new operating system is more advertisements????

Thanks for your nice reply. I really dont think anyone could help me. I just need to find someway to get the new iPhone and put android on it

Yea but ill be using my NE2 on the Incredible and id have to get it a month before Apple's conference to be able to return it.

Guess I am lucky. I get 19% off everything. The phone, the voice plan, the text plan, the data plan, the second line, everything. I do know the corporate discounts can work differently depending on which company you're with.
