Root [Verizon] SDcard partitioning

Ok...

So, I'm rooted (via Method 2). I have flashed TWRP recovery...

I would like to mount my 16GB sdcard but wondered if it will work as an EXT4 partition? Or, should it just be mounted as one contiguous volumn? I had this in my previous device and wanted to throw it in the new SGS3...

Is there a guide of sorts around here that I might consult?

Also, is it necessary that I unlock the bootloader (if it's possible)?

Thanks :)

Interesting . . . what would the benefits be from using a different format ?? & I believe Mike is correct (as usual);) in that I don`t think you can format sd cards on The GS3`s

btw . . . based on the method you used to root I would assume that your bootloader is un-locked . . .

Not to mention the fact that I feel bad that dk had'nt had any replies in over a year and a half.

Yeah, I somehow muddled through without any replies! I declare, I can't remember posting this  but, my fingerprints are all over it:p. But hey, thanks for the replies!
