Since you are torn, sounds like you need to analyze the pros and cons of each when they come out and then make your decision. At least, for us the consumers, there are many quality manufacturers, operating systems and wireless providers so we can choose what works best for us individually. Its always good to keep an open mind and not be blinded by fanboi loyalty. The priorities in choosing a phone/provider vary with each person and their needs. Personally, for me, I want to stick with Verizon as their coverage is superior in my area but outside of that, I am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest regardless of manufacturer/os. Even though I can't wait to turn my Storm into a cool looking paperweight, if Blackberry comes out with a sweet device in the future, I would consider it. Best of luck on your decision.
 
I am so behind on this board... but in case this is useful to anyone: Fedex says they have a contractual agreement with Verizon about holding packages and that they CAN NOT HOLD A PACKAGE for pick up without a minimum of one delivery attempt.

I was thinking more along the lines of apple fanboy. He should just by the Iphone since it is so awesome and all. All the rest of us will just buy the lowly incredible.:cool:

For storage id take internal over micro sd. I shouldnt have to spend another 40 bucks just to get memory. It should be in my phone already. I want all my files to be saved on one memory medium. I dont want 10 pictures on the phone and 20 on the disk and take the card out to my computer and go o sheet I forgot to transfer them or save them to the sd card. I just see no point in removable memory. I just see no point in memory cards
 
Well I emailed Verizon to see if they'll move my NE2 date up a week so I can get the Incredible now. I was thinking though, will this cause me to lose my $100 off if they do so? I want this phone badly, but I would much rather wait the extra week if it means $100 less for the phone.

And if taking photos and video is that important, why not buy a camcorder...your obviously not that serious of a picture taker if you are dependent on a phone as your primary source of taking photos/film.

I understand that you are talking about the iPhone 4, but I'm buying a phone, not a kiddie corner device. I'll use my Zune or Netbook for movies, both of which fit in my cargo pocket and outlast the iPhone for battery use and size of screen.

I'll use my Incredible for work, and web browsing

Yea ive heard this allot. Its a phone why would you want to be able to listen to music on it. Cause you can and its convenient. Why would you want to be able to take pictures. Cause you can and its convenient.

Its not like having a good camera on a phone is impossible. There are many phones out there that take good pictures and video. Phones from last year and the year before it have taken better video. Ohh and what was the reason for HTC to put in a 8 mega pixel camera in there. Cause people want a good camera on their phone and they are stupid enough to believe more megapixels mean a better picture.
 
I am sooooooooooooooooooooo jealous!!! I have been trying relentlessly since 2:30am to order this phone and verizons site is not working. I have called 4 times and talked to everyone's supervisor and no one will let me preorder over the phone as if it's my fault their site sucks today!! And, if I dont get my order placed today the free activation will be up. I wish i were one of you who somehow got your order through!! (had to vent to people who can relate - my boyfriend just thinks is funny as he sits there with his phone thats so old it doesnt even have a camera)

Until you have used it, how do you know that it cannot be tuned to perform better?
 
I just called VZW - they said that they know there's currently an issue with logging on, and they anticipate having it resolved within the next few hours. He seemed confident that it would be resolved before the end of the day.

Trust me Steve Jobs is a marketing god...this phone was his way of saying FU to HTC on its biggest day in history. The only thing better would have been if it has a verizon logo on it. This is what i LOVE about this country...eat or be eaten:cool:
