Help connection to xbox

My Gs3 is currently running 4.1.2 and I am finding it impossible to connect to my xbox, I have been googling for hours and feel I may be missing something stupid and obvious. I turn on my DLNA and my phone and xbox are both connected to the same WiFi, but they just seem to not be recognizing each other. I just want to stream my crap through my xbox, please help!! :(

Download Skifta(link below) I was having the same issues. I tried imediashare and it was slow and chose when to work or not. Skifta, works every time. All I do is open the app. Once the icon is in my notifications bar, I go to my xbox music and my phone is there. I'm sure it is the same with pictures and video. I don't even mess with the app. Once in the notification bar I lock my phone.

Not sure what your settings are set to on your phone, but all my file sharing options on my phone are off. And make sure wifi is on.
