Hi, I have a samsung galaxy ace, problem is it can't recieve/make calls or texts. It worked perfectly before I did a factory reset, and now it comes up with a blue circle with a line through it. I have spoke to orange who have absolutely no idea. I have rang them 4 times now and got firstly that it was a software fault, then it was my sim was too old, then it was the mast was down(even though orange sim was working on another phone), then again, software fault. For some reason, 3g has disapeared also?? I have tried to do an firmware upgrade through kies, but it keeps saying device not recognised (i do not have the proper cable to go from phone to pc for this phone and using one for galaxy apollo, it works if i hold it in a certain position lol)...Any help much appreciated!

lol.I believe that's APN problem, see here, and surf to look for APN settings for your carrier, or you can try to flash your carrier's stock rom by ODIN, wipe cache and user data, and start from the scratch. Must save all data before. ( dont know if solve APN problems)
