Root [International] UK o2 failed root with Odin

Hi guys, I was using the same process to root my phone and it was all a success when suddenly my USB drive died and I got the error about software not installed device not attached (the software being installed onto my computer)

Now my phone is stuck on the flashing samsung.

Originally the first part was a success, now it says fail when i try again.

I managed to start the rooting again and got the same issue

Welcome to the forum

Could you post a link to the guide you used for rooting please. Honestly I'm a bit confused why you have two blue boxes under ID:COM as every root method I've seen there should only be one.

It did have one the second time but then I get the MTB error and it doesn't complete

Is Odin still recognizing your phone?

Yeah Odin does, I am on my third attempt and it is doing the MTP search now

I think the best option will be try flashing stock firmware and starting from scratch. Flash the latest firmware from here with Odin. The country of origin doesn't matter

I got it from there.

Try the latest me2 from the first post. Honestly I'm a bit confused why it's trying to install the drivers. If they weren't already installed Odin wouldn't recognise your phone in the first place.

Google tells me there is a problem with samsung phones and MTB on Windows 7.
