I rooted my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 over a month ago. I used Paranoid Android 3.15 and it worked wonderfully. Then, about three days ago, my keyboard was delayed about 1/4 second. Not bad, but noticeable. Then, two days ago, my phone's incoming calls were met with the message, "unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." I cannot answer the call, and can see in the background who called me. The missed call doesn't pop up in my list.
I can call them back. The same message pops up, but if the other person picks up we can have a conversation just fine. The only issue is I cannot hang up, that person has to.
I then decided to update my gapps and ROM. I stupidly did the quick update, and ended up in a bootloop. I then did the proper thing and deletet cache, dalvik cache, /format system, then reinstalled. Made it past and everything worked great....except I got the same error message when I tried to call someone. And now it will not connect to 4G...but it will connect to 3G and wi-fi no problem. All my other apps are working fine.
So I did a factory reset. Still nothing. I removed the SIM card, turned on the phone without it, waited a minute, then turned it off, reinserted the SIM card, and turned it back on. Nothing.
I deleted the ROM and apps, redownloaded them, and then reinstalled them the safe way. Still getting the error.
What am I doing wrong? Should I flash a different ROM? Everything else on the phone is fine, except for the phone itself and 4G LTE. Should I unroot it and mail it back to Wirefly.com or Samsung themselves? Would warrenty cover this issue? I've had the phone since mid-March 2013.
I'm at my wits end. Perhaps I'm stupidly missing something.
