Root (Port) Behold II Factory 1.6

A. Superuser will not work in adb shell due to Full access via the Kernel's Ramdisk edit I made

B. The Market Issue is with the Build.prop

If you see Klaxon Oncall pager, that isn't even the application I was looking for. The one I am looking for is Klaxon Alarm Clock. The free or paid doesn't show up, then yes, Raging Thunder 2 lite shows up but the paid for app does not.

Titanium Backup is not getting root access like it wants.

Also, I was wondering what the trick is to installing the Behold 2 1.6 no touchwiz, I tried to and the touch screen didn't work. What ops file do I use?
 
in 1.5 I set up security to require a PIN after reboot. Did 1.6 remove this feature? I only see the SIM PIN locks.
 
I am extremely new to this but wanna put this 1.6 on my Behold 2. I have no idea where to start. Please help me and many thanks in advance.

What do I need to look for in the build.prop file to get the market working correctly? You had mentioned in an earlier response that it was something in this file.

well i have the 1.6 rom with TW already installed :) but how do i install the camera fix????? that is mind boggling
 
Is there a Megaupload or Rapidshare for this .zip? I can't access 4shared due to security at my office. I'd use my home pc, but my Windows 7 laptop is very hateful to my little BH2.

No later than a week I would asume! When BH_MAN says he's gonna do something it ussual comes out that night or within the next few days! But if it doesn't then to bad, because at least he's making roms!

I just finished pushing the Files Over to the Phone... Going to do a Fast test Run & then I'll be uploading it..

I removed A2SD & Fixed the Root issue's & added SuperUser.apk as well.. Plus, the Cube Button is still mapped to the Search..
Other than that it's a Stock build, just with Root..

Also, it's take a Minute to boot...

Other than that once I get done Testing it I'll get it uploaded for everyone, & then I'll get started on the No Twiz Bug Fixes too :D
 
I haven't seen this bug reported on this thread so maybe its just my phone. But whenever I try to use the Dialer while on the phone (ex. pressing 7 to delete voicemails) The phone lags, asks if I want to force close or wait...but no matter what I press, it freezes up, and I have to take out the battery and put it back in. It happened 3 times in a row. Any thoughts? Now all sorts of apps and services FC when I get a second call while I'm on the phone. and It freezes when i get off the phone for about 20 seconds.

I hate to re post in the same thread but the problem has gotten worse and my question seems to have been lost. Any help is appreciated.

Haven't you seen the post that he has submitted like 2 or 3 times???
He said he is aware of the bugs and that he is working on a ne release! So please hang in there, and you will get your fix soon!
