Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Dead android with red triangle in stock recovery

I am running stock Jellybean 4.1.2 rom & recovery

When I enter the stock 3e recovery with Jellybean 4.1.2 the Android is laying on it's back with a red triangle and ! point instead of standing up with stomach open. I am rooted. Is this normal in Jellybean?

Also, can someone confirm if there S VOICE version and if it says Beta in the background? I have 10.1 and it says beta. I open up S Voice then settings -> ABOUT

u need to install some sort of custom recovery just beacause you are rooted dosn't mean you have either clock work mod recovery or twrp recovery. fastest and easiet way to get custom recovery mind you twrp ftw is to from the play market download/install goo manager from there follow these images.
