I think that in order to help you we need a little more information, so I suggest that you post another question including the following info:
The make and model of tablet
The version of Android it is running
The application which the bookmarks relate to - if it is a Web browser, which one - the built in one or chrome or ?
Whether the bookmarks are within the app or on a home screen

If it's in the stock browser as opposed to a 3rd party browser you've downloaded and installed, it may not be possible to remove it. That's one of the reasons many users go into the Play Store and acquire Chrome or Boat or other 3rd party browsers; to be able to start with whatever bookmarks you want (even some of the 3rd party browsers have "set" bookmarks that have to be bypassed, though).
Try long-pressing the bookmark you don't want, and see if a menu comes up offering among other things the option to delete.
