Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] 160 split.??

Is there a sms that actually splits at 160 i have friend still with old flip phones
and when the sms converts to mms it won't open for them.running metropolis

It's impossible to get the stock messaging app to support splitting messages unless there was a custom rom which modified the app. You have to download a third party app (ie. Handcent as starstress suggested) to get that functionality.

Its not impossible its quite easy 2 files need to be changed feature.xml and build prop and there is another way but I never used it its decomposing the secmms.apk and changing a setting.
